CAFA 2008 Summer Volleyball Tournament

Here are the Tournament results:

A League:

First Place Winner: CAFA Team (Oriental Express)
Second Place Winner: Charlotte Team (Defending Champion of 2007 Spring VB Tournament)

B League:

First Place Winner: CPSFans
Second Place Winner: UNC Team

A League teams played Round-Robin, each team playing against the other team once. CAFA Team took the First place prize winning all three matches (They lost the first game in each match, and came back to win the match by winning two straight games, 2:1); The other three teams each won one match tied. After counting the match records, Charlotte Team won by one point (by loosing one less game than the other two teams). The competition in this league was second to none.

B League teams played Double-Elimination, each team going home after lost twice. UNC team was undefeated sitting on the Winner's Bracket; CPSFans defeated all other teams in the Loser's Bracket and earned the right to play against UNC Team for the Champion. Finally, CPSFans team defeated UNC twice to become the Champion (of the B League).

Congratulations to the winners! (The TWO first place winners, Oriental Express and CPSFans, are more experienced than the other teams, playing the organized games at Cary Part, Recreation & Cultural Resources' Tournaments for long time helped them to gain some advantages).
