Chinese Passport Replacement and Chinese Visa Service

Time: Sunday, 5/4/2008, 9:00am-12:00noon

Location: Blue Room (4th flour), Talley Student Center, NCSU, Raleigh, NC

To better serve the local Chinese and Chinese American communities, CAFA will again assist Chinese Embassy officials to process Chinese passport replacement and/or Chinese Visa applications.

To process the applications in an orderly and efficient manner, we require online pre-registration. Current CAFA members, current students, scholars, and employees at UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University, and NCSU with a valid ID are eligible to receive the passport renewal service. A $10 fee in cash or check payable to CAFA will be collected by CAFA for each passport that needs a renewal. Embassy collected fees are extra and payable to the Chinese Embassy. Money order or cashier's check is preferred payments to the Chinese Embassy. Chinese passport renewal rules and application forms are available at Chinese Embassy's web site

五月四日星期日,华联将在NCSU Talley Student Center 为华联会员及UNC-CH, Duke, 及NCSU三校的学生学者和员工协办中国护照换发及中国签证服务,三校学生学者和员工不必是华联会员, 欢迎非会员朋友现场加入华联并立即享受该服务及其他福利。中国使馆官员将在现场会晤申请人。每本护照华联收取手续费$10美元,收现金和支票;支票抬头请写CAFA。使馆按规定收取的费用请另行计算,费用数额及付款方式等具体做法请参见中国驻美大使馆官方网站
