北卡华人社区引荐话剧 <分居>
五月四日将在 Raleigh NCSU Stewart Theatre 上演
Dear Friends,
Upon invitation from CAFA and other local organizations, Washington D.C.- based Huayi Drama Club will present a five-act drama Fen Ju (Separated) at 2:00pm on Sunday May 4, 2008, in Raleigh's Stewart Theatre at North Carolina State University. Occurring in a city not far from New York City, the Fen Ju story involves two Chinese-American families where two couples originally from China came to study in the United States. They all got good jobs after graduation and seemed to be happily married. Leah and Chen Liang, the first couple, are raising a lovely son Andy but Leah, mother of Andy, has long kept an untold story of Andy a secret. Struggling to reconciling her passion with marital duties, Leah now feels the need to cut her extramarital relationship with Mark, her boss who has his own marital difficulties with wife Laura. Their passions and troubles exploded on a day when the two couples, all well aware of their emotions and responsibilities, are faced with the hard decision to stay married or split in separate ways.
Directed by playwright and actress Wang Lu, the drama's main characters are played by professional actors and actresses. The show received warm responses and discussions in communities the drama club went to perform.

旅美剧作家和话剧演员王璐女士编导的五幕话剧 <分居>, 应华联和北卡三角地区其他华人团体的邀请, 将于五月四日星期日下午两点正在 Raleigh 的北卡州立大学 NCSU Stewart Theater 上演。 <分居>的故事发生在美国东部离纽约不远的城市, 主人公丽亚(女), 陈亮和马克都是留学美国, 毕业后又留下来工作的新移民。陈亮和丽亚夫妇不仅有很好的工作, 也有一个看起来不错的家庭和一个可爱的儿子安迪。丽亚非常爱安迪, 可这儿子又是她的一块难言心病。为了摆平与丈夫陈亮的关系, 丽亚决心割断与马克多年的情丝, 而马克跟妻子劳拉也是爱怨兼在。情和爱, 灵与肉, 家庭和责任, 隐情与良知等现实问题, 剪不断, 理还乱, 终于在同一天爆发。处在婚姻十字路口的两个家庭, 面对分居, 离异, 修补和整合的多种途径, 该何去何从呢?
