2008年华联协助中国驻美使馆签证服务

鉴于过去两年在协同中国驻美使馆签证服务的无差错工作，中国驻美使馆最近称赞华联 (CAFA)为"荣誉领事协作机构"，批准华联定期为北卡三角地区华人代办签证服务。

基于这种信任，华联计划在4月26，27日两天再次为本地区广大华人提供签证代办服务，并修改部分服务内容。

1. 经与使馆协商，CAFA将免收回FedEx回执费用。使馆统一将所办护照寄给CAFA经办人。 CAFA一旦收到邮件，将在当地三所中文学校分发。
2. 请准确填写签证申请表(http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/hzqz/zgqz/t84240.htm)。持美国护照者，选择两年多次入境的申请费用为$130。持其他国护照者，费用请参考中国驻美使馆网站的通知。使馆收取每户$5邮件办理费。请按准确数目以银行支票(Money order) 或现 金方式支付， payable to Chinese Embassy。(一份签证：$130 + 5 =$135；二份：$260 + 5 =$265，以此类推)。
3. 自申请日期起，护照需有至少六个月的有效期。
4. 第一次申请前往中国签证的原中国籍华人，需提供原中国护照复印件，绿卡复印件等。
5. 新换护照者，需提供最后一次去中国签证的复印件。
6. 儿童第一次前往中国，需提供出生证原件，父母绿卡复印件等有关文件。具体内容，请参照使馆网站。
7. 华联收取每本护照服务费$10。支票或现金支付，payable to CAFA.

2008 CAFA to Assist Chinese Embassy in Tourist Visa Application

CAFA will provide another service for Tourist Visa Application on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the [1] Raleigh Academy of Chinese Language and [2] Cary Chinese School between 10:00am-12:00pm, [3] Chinese School at Chapel Hill between 2:00pm-4:00pm, and [4] CAFA's picnic site – Lake Wheeler, Raleigh on April 27, 2008 between 10:00am-12:00pm.

Details:

• This assistance only covers applications for tourist visa to PR China. Other types of visa, travel documents and passport renewal service are not accepted;
• In this assistance service CAFA will collect local applicants' [1] valid passports, [2] application forms completed per Chinese Embassy's requirements, [3] fees to the Chinese Embassy per Chinese Embassy for each application;
• Those planning to leave for China before June 1, 2007, please submit your visa application directly to the Chinese Embassy for expedient service;
• All application materials including passport, forms and fees must be submitted by the applicant at either the [1] Raleigh Academy of Chinese Language or Cary Chinese School, or Chinese School at Chapel Hill on Saturday, April 26, or CAFA's picnic site at Lake Wheeler on April 27. The entire family's applications [including spouse's and children's] may be submitted once by one parent applicant although each person's application is and will be treated as one, separate case;
• Please consult and download from PR China's official website (http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/hzqz/zgqz/t84240.htm) for application procedures, application forms, fee schedule, and other related details and documents. Applicants are responsible for their eligibility to receive the Chinese Embassy's visa;
• An applicant's passport must be in good standing and valid for at least SIX (6) months from April 30, 2008, to be accepted in this service for a tourist visa to PR China. Passports with less than 6-month validity may be submitted directly to the Chinese Embassy for proper processing;
• A fee of US$10 per passport in check payable to CAFA will be collected for CAFA member at the time of application submission to cover CAFA's cost in handling and forwarding each passport to the Embassy; Non CAFA members are encouraged to enroll on site;
• CAFA will distribute the granted visa at collective sites (three Chinese schools) when CAFA receive all returns from Chinese Embassy in DC.
