华联与本地十几家华人团体和中文学校携手合作，定于2007年2月18日农历初一下午2点30分，在北卡罗来纳大学Chapel Hill 校园华丽的 Memorial Hall举行本年度的春节大联欢。本次联欢以团结-联谊-和谐为主题，众多华人团体和艺术爱好者将登台献艺，给观众一台绚丽多彩的大型联欢节目。联欢会气氛热烈，还会有现场多项抽奖，奖品包括美国国内往返机票。诚邀大家届时光临，与本地各界 华人济济一堂，共渡新春佳节。

此外，这次的活动得到了中国驻美大使馆的大力支持，大使馆签证组的工作人员将会在演出当天在现场提供护照和签证服务。华联将在2月18日下午1:30-2:30在演出会场 UNC Memorial Hall 左后侧的 Hanes Hall 108 房间. 收 money order 和现金, 不收支票。如未收完将在演出 结束后 5:30pm 继续在该处接收。请在使馆网站下载合适表格按要求填好, 并准备好所有需要的文件和材料, 在2月18日下午1:30-2:30递交给使馆人员。具体地点/房间号码会另行通知。

2007 Chinese Spring Festival Show will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday February 18, 2007, in the grand Memorial Hall, UNC-Chapel Hill. We are fortunate to have the renovated Memorial Hall for the show on the very first day of the Chinese New Year of Boar.

In perfect holiday mood our show this year will again reflect the traditional festivity we would have felt in China and here at the beginning of each new year. Various artist groups and art lovers in our community and beyond are working hard to present their best talents and warmth to start another year with you and your loved ones.

The show will be hosted by CAFA, and co-hosted by 12 other local Chinese organizations, all with a mission to promote friendship, unity and harmony in our community.

  • Section A: $8 (CAFA Members) $10 (Others)
  • Section B: $6 (CAFA Members) $8 (Others)
  • Student tickets (Duke, UNC-CH and NCSU) $5 (available at Memorial Hall Box Office only, 843-3333)
  • Children other than infants/toddlers who sit on parents' lap need tickets at the above prices for admission and seating
  • 对号入坐 (All ticket holders must be seated according to the seat designation on the tickets they hold throughout the show)

Directions to UNC Memorial Hall:
From Raleigh/Cary/Apex:
TTake I-40 West and Exit at 273A to NC-54 West toward Chapel Hill. Keep on it and you will see it become Raleigh Street and then South Road. Shortly after you enter UNC campus, Bell Tower, the landmark symbol of UNC-CH, will be on your left. Stay on South Road and turn left at the next traffic light into Bell Tower Drive to enter the parking lot.

After parking, walk back to the parking lot entrance where the traffic lights are, turn left back onto South Road and walk on it about 100m till you reach South Columbia Street. Turn right to South Columbia Street and walk north for one block till you reach East Cameron Avenue. Turn right onto East Cameron Avenue and UNC Memorial Hall is about 100m on your right. The Hall is just 0.2 mile from the Bell Tower Drive parking lot.

From Durham:
Take 15-501 South and after you reach Chapel Hill and pass Eastgate Shopping Center and University Mall on your right, exit after the NC-54 JCT sign toward UNC Chapel Hill following that sign. You'll be on Raleigh Street and then South Road. Drive on Raleigh Street+South Road for 1.2 miles and you will see the tall Bell Tower, the landmark symbol of UNC, on your left. Stay on South Road and turn left at the next traffic light to Bell Tower Drive to enter the parking lot.
