CAFA Online Registration:
On-Site Chinese Passport Replacement and Travel Document Applications

  • Online registration is required for the on-site passport and travel document service. On-site processing will be based on your online registration ID.
  • This on-site service is limited for CAFA members, UNC, Duke and NCSU students; Please bring your CAFA/UNC/Duke/NCSU ID with you.
  • If you are not a CAFA/UNC/Duke/NCSU member, you may apply a CAFA membership ($20/family per year) on-site or pay an extra non-member service fee of $20/passport.
  • Please register for each passport holder. If you have multiple family members needed for this on-site service, please register each person separately. You will receive a confirmation email with a unique on-line registration ID for each registration.
  • If you need a Chinese Visa, please apply Visa at

Sorry, due to the limited number of interviews the visiting embassy visa officers could conduct,
the registration for the on-site passport/travel document service has exceeded the capacity and it is currently closed. If you need to apply a Chinese visa, please submit your Visa application at http://www.cafanc.org/visa.
